Academic Background & Career Dr. Dakhil began his academic career in 2002 as an assistant lecturer after earning his M.Sc. in Physics. Dr. Muqdad Kareem is a molecular parasitologist with a PhD in Parasitology from the UK and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) from UK. He has taught molecular biology at keele university and is an active member of the British Society for Parasitology, the European Federation of Parasitologists, and the International Society for Infectious Diseases. His research focuses on microbiology, and parasitology, with a strong interest in molecular biology of eukaryotic and prokaryotic microbes. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Baghdad, Dr. Asi has spent years advancing research in the fields of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and perovskite solar cells (PSCs), contributing to the development of efficient, low-cost photovoltaic devices. With a strong background in experimental and applied physics, Dr. Asi's work bridges the gap between theoretical innovation and practical engineering. His research interests span a wide array of areas including photonics, nanomaterials, semiconductor physics, and energy harvesting technologies. In addition to his scientific research, Dr. Asi brings significant experience in academic teaching and curriculum development in physics and engineering subjects. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in optics, quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, and electronics.
